We believe a well-organised project is one step closer to being a successful project... and we don't cut corners. Our overall methodology is process based. This means that every individual involved with an Indietech project is aware of their responsibilities and goals. We believe the transparency and accountability within a project allows both parties to understand their involvementin the project clearly: these two factors are a great catalyst to achieving the desired results. Every new project starts with a primary analysis session. We take a holistic approach to these business analysis sessions so that we can understand your business objectives clearly. Goals, objectives, successes, pains, strategies, policies, must all be considered that we can offer sturdy technical advice that we stand by. Analysis workshops Whilst we do offer a free 2 hour ‘primary analysis session’ to all new customers, larger projects can require much more in-depth study of a business. As an example, a recent CRM database implementation required 2 x half-day analysis sessions with the Director of Sales. Throughout the session we defined the goals and objectives, successes and pains, strategies and processes that would provide us with a roadmap for both a seamless CRM implementation project a well-run sales/marketing team.
Project & analysis documentation At the conclusion of the analysis sessions, a detailed analysis document may be written to ensure that all factors pertaining to the project are in writing. This document is constantly referred to as a roadmap throughout the project. The businesses that invest in this service find value in this document above and beyond the scope of the project. Comprehensive planning documentation is critical to the success of technical projects. It ensures that both parties are aware of the scope of the project and also allows us to ensure that individuals who are involved with the project are accountable… this includes all Indietech staff, of course! Change management Prior to the introduction or modification of any system or process, a change management strategy must be detailed. A high percentage of technical projects fail due to the lack of consideration given to how users will be affected by new systems or processes. We take it upon ourselves to ensure that EVERY user is aware of the benefits of a new system/process. Training We have extremely experienced technical trainers that know how to provide comprehensive user training in plain English. Even for smaller projects, it is vital that each individual who has any interaction with the new systems is well-versed in the functions of the new system. Testing phases Our Indietech technicians perform rigorous testing on all new systems. Systems deployment Using experienced technicians, we deploy all our systems with care and attention to detail. Whilst we enjoy getting the job done quickly within the allocated timeframe, we are perfectionists and will work hard to ensure that everything is just right. Review The review process allows both parties to consider any faults that need to be corrected or improvements that need to be made. Using our original scoping document, both parties can ascertain the success of the entire project. If you are not pleased with the overall project, then neither are we.
